It's a productive day :D

Today was so eventful.
Its so tiring and all but it was a great day :D

Had my LAN test (Malaysian Studies) today.
The first 14 students of my class started at 8.00am and the other 14 started at 8.30am.
I'm in the second session.
We're suppose to end at 9am and then rush to Chemistry lab for our fermentation experiment.
who knew, the lecturer started our test at 8.55am.
We ended at around 9.20am and guess wert, we were LOCKED OUT of the Chemistry Lab.
and according to my classmates who did the earlier session, they said that the lecturer was gonna mark around 18 of us absent!
when she finally let us in the lab, we were not allowed to conduct our experiment.
We can only observe what our classmates did.
Literally this means that the 18 of us might be failing our Practical Test in another two weeks because we hell dont know how to conduct this experiment.
Jing Yuan told me it was confusing and tough.
I am so dead :(

Next event of the day, this is short and silly.
I went to a restaurant in SS15 and while I was talking to my friends, I felt something on my ankle, when I took a glance, I almost screamed my lungs out.
A cockroach was on my ankle! In a restaurant?! wth!
I can except cockroaches in toilets or anywhere else but NOT in restaurants.
That restaurant has been blacklisted. I will never ever go back there again! >:(

The best part of the day, Research Project Showcase Day!
Photos to be uploaded next time. I need to get the photos from the photographer of the day! xD
She'll be taking photos and I'm in charge of writing an article about it for Taylor's.

I wonder what did Ms. J tell the other classes about what Alex and I did.
Because when I took out my Nike neon green shirt in Physics class, S3 people were like "Ohhhh!! So you are one of the two people running in neon shirts la!" xD
at the beginning, Alex and I were kind of "shy" and didn't dare to ask anyone to dare us.
But after some time, it all came and well, we did so many crazy stuff!
especially Alex, since I am a girl, some dares were completed by him! Haha!
The best dare received was something like what I did on graduation day at the new block. Refresh? I mean this :

but this time, we were dared to climb onto the unfenced porch in front of the office and run 5 rounds there. Its kind of dangerous in the sense that if you slip *choi!*, then really good luck la.
I think I've ran up and down the stairs for like N times today.
I seriously never thought that some of the dares were actually really interesting and are things that I'd never think of. Haha!
Now I seriously can't feel my legs. Muscles are showing :( and its really really numb.
But it was productive and frankly, kind of better than some other booths xp
The lecturers asked me this when I followed them to the office to get some stuff,
"don't you feel tired after being dared for 4 hours straight?"
I said no, because I'm doing something I like! haha!

today was a productive day :D
Enjoy this week, next week will be the start of a super busy month.
I know I will survive May, but can I enjoy it?
I'm trying to remind myself everyday that I should not do any last minute revision.
Although I know it always happens. I am trying to change x(

lastly,

I feel good today :D

Nice clip :)

Saw this clip at PeeJing's page.

Its a super nice clip :) I'm gonna use PeeJing's caption, "it's a bit long, but it's meaningful. do watch :)"

Its a shame how things end at some point but hey, nobody's perfect.

Happy endings come with communication and of course, love. :)

(I am part of the fitness team)
everybody whose anybody are invited too :)

btw, my activity is not stated in the program list.
It is an 'all-day' activity xp

I wonder how will this day turn out to be xD

Energizer Night Race

Went to St John HQ in the morning to laugh and sort of have fun with the gang xD
It was actually a day for Home Nursing Course and well, we were kind of early. Heh.

When Nyee Huey is there, the crapping never stops.
Somehow I pity her and somehow I am thankful she's always there to make us laugh xD

The mobile phone joke.
*inside joke! xD*

from left : Teng Han, Huey Khim, Hui Gee, Nyee Huey, Eng Seng and mine.
Spot the joke? Haha!

Laughing is the best medicine

Didnt stay too long with them as I have Energizer Night Race that evening and JHow told me to go to his house by 4pm. Lol. Reached there at around 5 something near 6pm.

Sepang International Circuit.

We had too much time so we loitered around the place and took photos of practically everything.
There's too many to upload here. Heh.
Just a few random shots :)

For what seemed like 10 hours, 8pm finally came and its almost time for flag off.
The 42km runners were the first to leave.
Then followed by 21km, 11km and 5.5km.

For such a prestigious run, I think they should be ashamed of themselves. They were so badly organized and the whole event was a mess. Chaos and unsatisfied runners was every where.

Firstly, runners should be awarded their finishing medal at the finishing line. This way they will be able to know who actually finished the run within the allocated time and who did not. They never even did it this way. By the time I ran back, there was not even a station for 11km runners. I was so taken aback and like "what is this?"

Secondly, hello, such a small signboard you think people can see ar? For 5000 runners in the 11km category, the signboard is like the size of a normal exercise book, not the buku panjang, its those small squarish books. How do they expect people to see? lol. And the silly emcee kept saying "Please come HERE (shouts) to collect your goodies bags! HERE!" I mean Hello?! Where the hell are you? How do I know where are you and where do you mean by HERE? -.-

I don't want to make this post lengthy and think about how pekchek it was last Saturday night.
Have a look at the photos taken by those unsatisfied runners who made it a major issue in Facebook and also in the newspapers.

this is an underground tunnel with no ventilation.
And according to Facebook, there are 1000 over runners lining in this tunnel to collect their headlamps.
in the end some people didnt even get their headlamps.
Alex told me that he didnt get his headlamp but his friend manage to get 5 or 6 of them! -.-

waiting for the goodies bags.
Some didnt get any, and some got a handful.

look at the crowd.

what is this?!

we were all waiting outside and what are they doing inside?
They are stuck.
They want to open the door and let us through to get the bags but they cannot do so. Why? Simply because if they open the door, there will be a stampede and I am guessing there will be people who'd get hurt.
In the end, nobody got the bags.
The event organizers got a flow of curses and the finger from the crowd (I saw that)
Everybody was yelling for a refund and that was really chaotic.

so there goes my research project.
I cannot prove that I finished the 11km run.
I can prove that I went there, but not that I've actually completed the race.
I reached home around 1am with disappointment.

The next day, I searched Facebook to find the Energizer Night Race page.
It was an awful sight, although I am also furious but I would never do that.
About a few thousand unsatisfied runners were spamming the page and Energizer did a very stupid thing by deleting the comments of the runners. In the end, a Facebook page with the title "Boycott Energizer Night Race" was created! Lmao! And within 5 hours, there were >1000 people who "liked" the page.

In the end, Energizer made a statement in the net saying that they will make a full refund for every runner and that the goodies bags will be sent to every participant's house.
Ah well, fair enough.
I am hoping that the cert and medal arrive before the 16th of May as that will be my deadline for my research project.

My first ever Night Race.
My second 10+ km run :)

Despite the unsystematic organisation of the event, I feel that this run was the fastest and most motivated run I've ever been to.
The runners were super fast and I really made a lot of effort to catch up.
I actually sped through the first round and only begin to slow a little in the second round. The overall time was satisfying :)

It was an experience to remember :)

Its all crammed together

wo-kay. Next week is gonna be a tough week.

I'm having Biology, Chemistry and Maths test all on the same day next Thursday
(so dead, I know x___X)

anddd, Chemistry draft to be handed in next Wednesday.
(I used 6 hours for one Physics draft [without Facebook], imagine Chemistry)

not to mention next week its Research Project Day.
everybody who is doing Research will be performing live shows, demonstrating products etc.
I am under the fitness group and guess wert?
I am the only girl among the 10+ students who are working on the topic Fitness. O__O
Luckily, Alex is working on a similar topic so we're brain storming on what should we do on that day.
Runners can't possibly demonstrate how to run a marathon in Taylor's right? And we have no products and equipments, so..
We're gonna do something quite silly :P Not gonna tell here xD
its embarrassing but I think its gonna be fun! :)

Next Saturday will be Taylor's Pre-U Ambassador's Camp.
I have no idea who is going or even what is it about.
I'm guessing it should be about leadership and how to make us all rounders? Idk.

Another marathon this Saturday.
Thanks to Energizer that is, I wont need to run this if I got my medal and cert from Energizer last Saturday.
But anyhow, Energizer is going to refund full registration fees to the participants.
and I heard that they are going to mail the goodie bags to our house? I doubt this. They will be in a major loss if they do this.
Thank goodness my parents' company is organizing a marathon this Saturday xD
I rather that than Jogathon Warisan.

Will upload the photos during the weekends.
weekdays are to fight for ATARs and rest xD

night outs :)

Makan = Stress-less

Here are the photos from my college life in TCSJ :)
You will see mostly food I guess XD

went to Sunway Pyramid's Wong Kok on Wednesday with Jing Yuan and Shien Wee :)

Jing Yuan, a super nice girl :D

Shien Wee's dont-know-what-chop xD

I forgot the name of this but it was a lil too sweet but at the same time, quite sour. Worth a try I suppose, just that the price is eh-heh *gulps* but not as expensive as Starbucks la.

mine :)
photos are seriously for illustration purposes only.
It looks like it has a bigger proportion on the menu.

Jing Yuan's :)

Hurried home after the meal.
It was already 9pm. Although my parents didnt really nag about it, but I dont think they like the idea of me sitting Shien Wee's car home late at night. Safety reasons perhaps. After all, he just got his license this year.

On Thursday, Idk what day was it, so special, Ms Param brought cupcakes to class. She separated us all into 6 groups and started distributing the cupcakes to us. (p.s. She should really do more of these activities in class xD so we won't be so bored xD)

btw, each cupcake has an alphabet on it. Each group with a different alphabet forming the word,

ohhh.. So it was a lesson on personal development or something.
R for respect, E for excellence, C for communication, I for integrity, P for *whoops! Forgot! Sorry XD* and E again for Enjoy.

My group's work :)

people were working on the Mahjong paper and he's eating the cupcake? apalani.

it was kind of a very "fei" project but well, better than being cooped up in class and bored to death :P

That evening, we went to Sunway again :D
but this time, Aaron went too :DD

Today, we decided to try Robot Sushi.
None of us tried this before and we decided to give it a go.

look at this side of the menu.
call me "sua gu" or whatever but I never knew wine cost that much. lol!

"sai em sai" ar? lol. I have no knowledge in this, dont mind me, thanks.

Aaron glaring at the Ice Lemon Tea.
One miserable jug cost 15 bucks!

A total of I think RM 100 (more or less) and then with the help of

we only need to pay RM 60 (more or less)
I am thinking they have very little business. Nobody wants their vouchers either..? Look at the expiry date, it has been renewed. Lol. And they gave us these vouchers when we came in -.-

we left around the same time on Thursday. But bad news..
there was a massive traffic jam right outside Sunway Pyramid.
So much for going home early and doing my homework.

terrible jam. Went home late.
went to sleep straight! xD

Next post will be on the blardy Energizer Night Race.
That was kind of the worst marathon I've ever been too.
so unorganized and not professional.
My research project is gonna "die". I need at least a cert as proof to say that I've actually participated in this race. But hell, I didnt get one due to the unorganized organizer and the super scary crowd.
Sigh. I gotta think of a way to save my project x(
