Let it be.

Spring is here, the weather's gradually regaining its warmth (although there're still sucky days when it is freezing cold and rains 24/7).

Went to the Royal Botanical Gardens a few days ago with le housemate :) I really love that place. It's like Bukit Cahaya just that there's no monkeys, more hills, 100x cleaner and 100x prettier (ok, maybe Bukit Cahaya ain't such a good example). After I've finished my finals, I am so gonna go back there and chill for one whole day. Just laying on the grass is good enough! Maybe sip coffee and read a book. :P

* * * * *

September came and went just like that. It was pretty eventful I suppose :) The adrenaline rush when I'm checking the results for my assignments (not to mention disappointment), the boredom/frustration/determination(?) of devoting trying to study as much as I can, the stress from the coming finals, and lastly, which is also the best part, is the non-stop talk-a-thon with le kawan-kawan while indulging in finger-licking good restaurants around Melbourne.

September has been a great month :)

Please be nice, very nice! :)
Let me pass my Onlince Calculation Test in one shot! (The passing mark is 80%, so I am so doomed.)
Let me get through semester 2 with a smile.
Be good on the 30th so I can get through my first paper without having to worry about the weather/chills etc.

October, please come and go, just like September. Bring me a month closer to home. :)
50 days more!

Let's Just Hang On.

Excitement of the day :

Mooncake from TaiThong!
A little pressie from JK's sister who came to visit him.
Although I was never really a huge fan of mooncakes but when I don't get to eat it at this time of the year, I feel sort of weird. Lol. My sister's eating ice cream mooncake! Envious! Haha!

Today's the start of my one week mid-semester holiday. But holiday like no holiday. I think we're supposed to spend this holiday studying for all the tests starting the first week of October. *sigh!* Today's the first day of my lonely days as well. Most of my friends, their parents came to visit and they'll be busy hanging out with their family. JK's sister came over as well, so they'll be going out very often as well. Florina is going over to her boyfie's place for a few days. Boredom hits. Hopefully I'll be able to utilize my "extra" time well but I doubt it's gonna happen somehow. Haha! And btw, my Psychology assignment wasn't that bad. I didnt get full marks but it wasn't too bad either :)

I've done quite a lot of running lately. To shed the excess fats. And guess what? Instead of shedding fats, I'm gaining weight at a uber fast rate. Wth. Are muscles really that heavy? And the worse part? I don't feel skinner, in fact, I feel much more "bulky"(?). I wonder is it because 3.8km a day isn't far enough. Was it because the distance ain't long enough that my thighs are developing glycolytic fibres (muscles with a larger diameter for sprinters) instead of oxidative fibres (muscles that have a small diameter for marathon runners). Exercise like no exercise and it's driving me nuts! I don't want to post the reason here because I am pretty sure some people will use it against me when I get back and that time, I'll really go crazy :P

Shall chill on a Friday night and start my battle with my semester tomorrow (hopefully!) :)

Who doesn't?

Who doesn't like desserts?
I know I LOVE DESSERTS! Anything related to chocolate - my love! :D

Because we don't wanna spend big bucks buying cakes and cookies, my housemates and I decided to make them ourselves! :D Okok, you got me, we aren't that good to bake our own. We used those packet ones. All we have to do is to add water, milk, butter and eggs. Then we just stir it and put it in the oven. Total time used - 30 minutes and its done! :D

Our first piece! Chocolate fudge brownie! It was so so so so awesome! We're so gonna buy that again next time! :D

Second try, chocolate cookies and double choc cookies. Both failed because we were too lazy to take them out of the tray after taking them out of the oven. Ended up it got stuck onto the tray. SIEN. So we started out battle with the so-darn-stubborn cookies. Digging and scraping like three kids. Lol.

Next time, I'm staying with the chocolate fudge brownie. 100% success and 101% of yumminess :目

And this! Today's treat! The three of us cleaned the house like slaves. Lol. One of my housemate's sister is coming over and we don't want it to seem like it's a mess here. Now everything looks brand new :D Proud max!

One more month and it's the finals again. Semester 2, why are you so freaking fast? :O I've just settled down and I have only 3 weeks left before the finals. (3 weeks of lectures and 2 weeks of holidays)

Shall try my best. I don't want credits this time :)

I'll receive my 15% assignment tomorrow. Please please please let it be something presentable. *breathes in* *breathes out* Wish me luck! :)

#LikeAHousewife

I feel that my life in the past four hours is exactly the same as a typical housewife's life.

I came home at 5.30pm, I checked the mail, leafed through the supermarket weekly catalogues, helped to cook rice, pack three sets of lunch, wash the dishes, hand wash some clothes, do the laundry for me and my room-mate, marinate the chicken for tomorrow's dinner (my turn to cook tomorrow) while waiting for the laundry and lastly, hang the laundry. I finally had a shower at 9.30pm. Ohmygawd.

I am already housewife-in-training. Who wants to marry me? Lol :P

I was halfway packing lunch for three (my housemates and I) and I realized that the vege wasn't done yet. So A helped to get it done while I went down to hand-wash my clothes. When I came back up, le housemate said "The vege's cooked!" and I thought A meant it was packed into the three lunch-boxes I set right beside the stove. So I said thanks and went upstairs to get the other half of the laundry while A went back to A's room. When I passed by the kitchen again, I realized that what A actually meant was just as simple as what A said "It. Was. Cooked.". It didnt mean that It.Was.Packed! Ohgawd. Hellooo? Are you just gonna leave the vege in the pot? What about your own lunch? Am I your mom or something? Ohmaigawd. In the end, I had to pack it all and put in the fridge.

After the laundry, I entered the room and realized that the shared toilet's bin is full. But it wasn't changed. Instead, all B did was tie up the plastic indicating that it is full but did not take the initiative to change the bag. Had to run downstairs and get a new plastic to get it changed. The next not-so-busy day is Thursday. By then, I will have to start vacuum-ing the carpets and shitz.

Mah Busey Busey Lifeee!

Living with friends ain't easy but it's definitely better than before. I should really learn to live with it. By the time I go back to Malaysia, I am sure my family would be awed at the amount of things I'd know how to do :P

I am counting down the days :)

Post-test Celeb

We finished our Drug Delivery mid-sem test yesterday! So a few of us decided to go celebrate with a cup of Freddo Ice Cream! Freddo is like BaskinRobbin but it is so much nicer because they have Roche and Honeycomb! Loveeee Honeycomb!

After Freddo, we decided that double scoop of Freddo wasn't enough. Dinner at Laksa King was what we needed. :D

My seafood curry laksa.
Haven't had Laksa in ages!

I had a great time with my tutorial mates. They are really really awesome people. It was a day well-spent! :)
And I am soooo gonna go try more good food!
Looking forward to the next destination! :)
