2011 - It's History

In less than 30 hours, we won't be writing 2011 any more. It'll be 2012!

January

enrolled for South Australian Matriculation at Taylor's College. I was warned to expect stress but I was also told to have a blast because, SAM is all about getting to know your strengths better and improve on your weaknesses. SAM was great! Thanks to SAM, I met a bunch of awesome people! The G4s!

Never a dull moment! - which company's slogan was that again? haha! Love 'em! :D But of course, I love these (photo below) people too! I miss them so so much! 5S2 class of 2010 - CNY gathering :DD

February

Hmm.. I realized that my February posts were all about the stress in SAM. Haha! Oh well.. Here's the most meaningful activity of the month:

The outing with the yellows! :D

Nyee Huey was the cameraman! :D I still have bangs back then. I still don't understand why I had the courage to try such a hairstyle. Heh!

Shao Qian and Huey Khim. Two of my best friends in St John. We got to know each other from St John and I am thankful that we're still constantly updating each other on our hectic lives! :) For example, I am text-ing Huey Khim right now! haha!

my pimple-filled face! Thank you hormones. Gah! I am grateful that all my pimples have subsided :)

We have constant outings so we won't eventually lose contact and become strangers! Nooooooooo!! I don't want to walk pass her on the street without even saying hi! No no noooo! She's getting prettier and prettier. Fuh! Ain't I lucky to be "married" to her?! (Relationship status in Facebook!) Muahaha!

March

It was great because almost everyone was there! If we were to have another gathering, I doubt that more than half will be there :(

Seriously, I miss them.

March was the month I finally got my driving license. But it wasn't until 4 months ago that I was allowed to drive out on my own :) Friends told me that by the time you get your license, you'll hate driving. Meh! I still love driving :P If it's not because of the ever rising cost of petrol, I wouldn't mind driving people around all day :P

March was the month where the SPM results were announced. Heart broken as ever because I just needed one extra A to apply for scholarships etc. But now, say BOO to SPM! Nobody cares about SPM any more once you've enrolled in college. So I've gotten over the heart break soon enough! haha!

Saw the snow! The last time I saw snow was in Switzerland. I almost forgot how it felt like to touch the snow. @Sedona, USA.

Right after touch down at KLIA, went home, pack my stuff and I'm off to camp with the gang!

I think that's my last camp? The torturing times, the good times. The people, the smiles.

I'm guessing that's all of my adventurous 2011. I missed out a few outings because I got a lil tired towards the end. Sorry folks! :D

I cherish all our moments together. I treasure all the past memories. If I'm going overseas, I'll make sure I bring everyone of it along with me. 2011 has been kind to me. I'm hoping that 2012 will be too! :D

All Over Again.

It's nearing the end of the year. My cousins are back in Malaysia again just like every other year. So it is said that my sister and I, one of us have to be home today. And my sister booked her outing a long time ago. Ish. I'm on perintah berkurung today :/

3 more days till the end of 2011. It sounds kind of scary doesn't it? Haha!

Yesterday I heard one of the radio DJs said " a few more days and 2011 will be history". Wow. New resolutions needed, new goals, new experience. 

Be up and out for the last 3 days! Make the year memorable :)

What a day! :D

Woke up early for the Trooping of Colours training and ended up being a backup and wasted my whole morning there. I'm thankful I need not stand under the hot sun for as long as the others did but at the same time, I feel so useless sitting there like a dummy. Grr.. Why the hell did I promise to return the favour by attending this event? Silly me.

At 1.30pm, I went to Jusco to meet up with Szechin. Boy, it has been a long time since I last met her. Haha! Chilled at Starbucks and we couldn't stop talking. It's incredible that even though we lead different lives now, we still have loads to talk about. Haha! I really miss those S2 days though. :)) Too bad we forgot to take pictures. Gah. So much for pictures for every outing. :/

Nehmind, our birthdays are just around the corner :D we'll be meeting up soon :)) Till then, all the best in your studies wey! Take care! ♥

Right after reaching home, I received Yin Yean's text telling me that there's a 6B gathering at BBK. Within 2 hours, I'm on my way there already -_- Thank Yi Cing, for the ride :)

The good old times in 6B. Haha! All those old nicknames and old "affairs", rumours yada. It was fun :D and for an event that's so last minute, there's 12 of us who actually attended the event. Awesome! :))

And the best part, JiunKai is going for Pharmacy in Monash too! Now I have company! Hahaha! Niceeee! :D

First of all, Merry Christmas everyone!

And how did I spend my Christmas?

By doing nothing at home - all day.

Ok, maybe not nothing but things that people don't do on Christmas day.

I was too bored and I bought Sephora's Magnetic Nail Polish in USA. So I decided to give it a try. Hmmm.. I think it's not bad? Lol. Shatter Nail Polish looks punk-ish but this one doesn't. Heh!

Only after applying the nail polish did I realize that I have St John tomorrow. Shit. So.. I've already wiped them clean. Wasted -_-

Still bored. Have more than half a day left.

I bought these soft toy postcards in Taiwan. So.. I guess it's time I finished them and see how BAD I am at hand craft xD

I started of with the Chicken. After all, it is my zodiac.

Still have time, I continued with the Elephant one. When I saw the sample in Taiwan, I couldn't resist buying it, it was sho sho cute can!

The instructions were online-based. So I was in front of the computer for the whole day. So much for good eye-sight.

Besides these boring stuff, I've been listening to the same playlist for 12 hours. 250+ songs kept repeating themselves on and on. Need.A.New.Playlist.

Christmas is just THAT boring for me. Friends all having a great time, jealous! xD Who's #foreveralone on New Year's Eve? Jom! Lol. I would head out rather than spending the last few moments of 2011 and the first few hours of 2012 at home. Please please please I don't want to watch tv or online till I fall asleep can?!  Sigh.

Thank you for your time. Reading this silly post about what a dull person did on a wonderful Christmas day. :)) I hope my days won't be boring-er and boring-er. I still have a month of holiday :X

So in other words, I'm in the top 8% of all the students studying SAM around the world.

To some people, it's really good, to some others, it's just okay or simply, very bad.

Decisions weren't easy. But I think I know now, thanks to a wise friend who gave me some pointers :))

I'm gonna sign those documents by Tuesday.
Let's get it done and over with. I'll never know what's in stored for me in the future so I might as well just try it. There's a risk in everything. Who knows, I'll end up loving Pharmacy? Haha! Or maybe end up studying Pharmacy for the sake of my certificate! Heh!

So people, be sure you know what you want. Don't be like me, previously I wanted to study something that can't secure me a future. And that, to me, is an investment that's not worth making. Simply because it might be bad debt. You'll never be able to pay back the money you put on your studies.

I remember the poem "The route not taken"

Decisions are hard, they're not always right, they're not always wrong. It depends on what you achieve later on.
