TGIF!

It's Friday AGAIN! :DD
Time does fly :D

First of all, I AM FREE FROM HEALTH MONTH! :P
no more trips to hypermarkets at night!
no more queuing up to buy liang teh at Bekerley!
No more proposal writing! Muahaha! :D
But still, I have a report to write. Ahh.. Nehmind!

The second event was quite successful :D
more people joined compared to the previous one. When students asked us if they could register on the spot, our eyes lighten up and nodded in excitement. Everything went well :)

While working with the PUAs, I realize that all the PUAs are really really hardworking people. They work really hard for Health Month and even harder for their studies. I fail lah!

My weekend :)

I won't say that I fully utilized my weekend well because, my WHOLE Saturday, I'm serious, the WHOLE 24 Hours, was a waste.

On Saturday, I went for public duty at the CHARM Cheerleading Championship.

It was from 8am to 7pm. So yea, whole day gone.

The pee wee category was super CUTE! Haha!

Imagine, kindergarden girls shouting cheers and all, not only that, when they form a human tower, they are still a head's-length shorter than the guys ( guys as seen in the photo above) xD

The primary category wasn't that interesting as well.

But the high school category was awesome. And the elites were better! :)

I only started watching near the end of the event, it was more exciting near the end. The beginning was a bore. Haha! Plus, we did not get a chance to sit :( We were standing all morning until 3pm. Stupid la deii..

Anyways, I was too tired to do anything after the duty. I slept super early for I have McDonald's Run today! :)

I'm so disappointed! We reached the starting line LATE.

Normally there would be a lot of people walking at the back, the thing is that we can't even SEE that crowd of walking people! We were more or less 5 minutes late!

Xin Yi, Khai Qi, Soon Teng and I ran full-speed to catch up with the runners.

It was nearly impossible to cut through the walking-crowd because it was so packed with people walking and talking.

After like 20 minutes of running, I had a guess that I reached the middle group of runners because it wasn't that packed and people were running instead of walking.

And then, I passed Chong Yong and Mei Yen so I was SURE I'm somewhere in the middle! haha!

I ran faster and well, when I reached the finishing line, I saw the lady in-charge was keeping the numbers, so I knew, "oh shit, I didnt get the medal. Dang."

Oh well, at least I ran 7km on a Sunday morning when other people might still be sleeping :P

And lastly, I just realized that I have loads of photos which I have not uploaded. Whoops! Sorry to those people in the photos. Lol! Will upload soon! :X

But I know, this will break our track record.

Its so sad yet its a fact that we'll just have to accept.

Taylor's PUA Health Month is launching tomorrow!

Health Month = Hell-of-a Month.

But, I'm quite sure I'm all set to help all I can. :)
(btw, PUA = Pre-U Ambassadors)

We're arranged to fulfill our duties either in Taylor's or out of Taylor's.

To raise funds, to standby etc.

It really sounds like St John's Flag Day or even Standby Duty -__-

Seriously, we have a target! 10K.

just that instead of giving out flags, we're actually conducting activities here and there and trying to earn as much money as we can from there.

I did my part of thinking of the games day in day out and preparing the stuff.

I might not be as busy as the client and sponsorship department but I hope that everything goes well too :)

I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I hope for the best.

I hope my team can reach our own target.

Which is to get the estimated number of students and staffs to join our games. :)

Its gonna be a busy busy 3 weeks. :/

Well, the actual reason is that I just realized that my blog's background (when viewed using Taylor's computer) I can see that it fills only 75% of the screen, when viewed using the computer at home, it fits 90% of the screen and when viewed at my aunt's house, it is perfect xp

So I might as well change it to the Blogger templates which can fit 100% no matter which computer is viewing it. heh heh.

I want to share with you guys a blog.  

Dancing Paper Cranes

This is the blog of a girl named Leonie and she has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Mediastinal Large B-cell Lymphoma in July 2010.

She blogs about how she goes through chemotherapy and had her head shaved, not once, but twice. To a girl, shaving the head is a huge thing, right? *Laugh at my own stupidity* Like me, I don't even have the guts to cut my hair short and she was brave enough to make the decision to shave her head.

A jap is painful enough, right? *Shudders* Think about stem cells transplant. She'll be going through all that.

This girl opens up about her own feelings and how she is coping while all this is going on. She wants to be an inspiration for others to know how lucky they are to be healthy.

well, she really inspired me. :) 

I'm 18 y/o and so is she but I can never be as positive, nor can I be as brave as she is :)

To me, she is a very strong girl. :)

To this beautiful girl whom I do not know, 

I will pray for you. I wish for your full recovery. You can win this :)

Feel Good Sunday :)

waking up to the ringing of the alarm is the most annoying thing that could happen on a Sunday.

Even though I am looking forward to meet my friends for the Feel Good Run, I didn't want to wake up, at all.

first thing first, I can't believe I can still run 7 km! lol! Hahaha! I was expecting myself to stop half way and pant like I just finished 42km but thank goodness it didnt happen. :D

But I did walk after the water station though, because Zie Zhen and I decided that we should wait for Jing Yuan and CK (little did we know CK was way in front!). We walked for around 500m I guess and we continued running as they were no where to be seen :(

Because of the rain, the Taylor's staff decided to leave early. I don't want to be left alone in Damansara, so I followed the Taylor's transport back to Taylor's. I've never left a run that early before. lol! When I reached TCSJ, it was only 9.30am o.o

Ah well, it was a great day anyway. Haha! :D

July's gonna be a hectic month but its gonna be awesome :D

I'm gonna kick off July with Transformer 3!! xD

Not like I like watching Transformer, but it's more like I wanna go out with friends. Heh.

After watching the movie, I think I wanna go find Transformer 1 and 2. xD it looks really interesting!

After that would be all the runs that I've been waiting for, starting with Ntv7 Feel Good Run. I wonder if I can even finish 5km of it. Haha. It has been some time since I last ran that distance.

Health Month. The PUA's project.

Taylorians please participate can? We're putting a lot of effort into this!

We're targeting a 10k income if I am not mistaken.

And all the proceedings will go to charity. But which organization? It has yet to be confirmed.

This month is gonna be hell too because there are just so many practical tests! I just finished Esterification and guess wert, 1 mark was deducted because Pravin and I forgot to on the water for the Liebig condenser. *Smacks head and face palm*

Next test is diffraction and also photosynthesis. Gotta study hard and work properly this time x(

After July, it'll be worse with more tests and quizzes. Oh gosh.
