I prepared a to-do list and now, I'm still struggling to finish off what I should have been doing on Monday. #fail

And then there's IELTS. The freaking test is this Friday and Saturday and my reading tests were 17/40, 16/40 etc low marks. #fail #epicfail #foreverfail 

Even Olivia (She's English Ed) said it was tough :( How am I going to get a band score of 7.5 now? D: 

I remember the questions my IELTS lecturer gave me was quite easy last time I could score 38/40. I guess my English deteriorated :( Frankly, the marks got me super pissed at myself. *sigh!*

Fine, forget about the unhappy events these few days. Backtrack to last week. Taylor's had a independence day dress code. Not compulsory but our whole class decided to follow the trend :)

Scold Pravin. He did not upload the photos from Olivia's Birthday celeb. Her birthday was actually yesterday but we celebrated it last week :) The cake this time was different, it was BR's Ice Cream Cake! :D awesomeness! :) Again, Happy Birthday Olivia! Glad you loved the surprise! :D

Tomorrow's the last day of August. Independence Day for us all. :)

I was in such a big dilemma.

I wanted to go for Taylor's Preview Day and at the same time, I wanted to attend St John's AGM. Both events are taking place at the same time.

So in the end, I told Taylor's that I'll be late and I went back to KH for a while :)

Imagine, I'm wearing formal (skirt and heels ._.) and stepping into KH. Lol

The worst part was that I'm wearing the PUA tee, so it looks like I am a promoter from Taylor's -___-

I only had 3 photos from that event. Haha!

Congratulations to San Yong for being appointed as the new chairman :)

It is now up to you guys to run the division and make sure that we're still standing :)

For Taylor's event, I was one of the emcee and also the Pre-U Ambassadors.

I was so nervous when I presented my slide show that my English was all crappy.

I felt really bad and that I've humiliated Taylor's. I'm so so sorry :X

as for the emcee part, my cousin brother actually said that I was quite good. Hahahaha!

at least something positive from all that embarrassment. :]

I just hope that I will have another chance in the future.

Next time, I will not be as anxious as I was on that day. *fingers crossed!*

So...

Initially I didn't know what to do when I saw this letter.

I was shocked and started laughing out loud.

Ask Huey Khim, Nyee Huey or Xin Ying, they were there when I opened the letter, and hence, the first to know about it.

I didn't want to post it here because I was scared.

What if I ended up not going there?

What if I wasn't good enough to be there?

My mind was filled with "what ifs". That horrifying feeling.

And I just don't want to humiliate myself.

Then again, I realize that getting a conditional offer to that university was already good enough.

Not everyone can get that offer I suppose.

so here it is, I have been accepted to....

and yea, its CONDITIONAL ADMISSION.

So I might or might not be able to enter. it depends on my results :/

Still,

Good news :)

I have been accepted to one of the best university in Australia.

On the other hand, I'm still deciding whether I'm going or not.

1. The tuition fees and the lodging fees. I cannot afford. :/

2. I need an ATAR of >85.00.

(which I think is achievable)

3. If there're a lot of students with similar results, they'll pick the best few.

Then.. habislah saya. :X

I will only know the answer for sure in January 2012.

Till then, I dare not put too much hope in it but I'll definitely work hard :]

I don't know why am I wasting so much time on the Preview Day's presentation slide show.

Searching for photos, editing photos and even asking around for suggestions and opinions.

Shall waste no more time on that.

The presentation this Saturday will cost me my visit to Kwang Hua.

I WANT TO GO BACK TO KWANG HUA!

I miss the place and the people! I miss each and everyone of them :(

But the presentation is just as important. I cannot give up on that.

It is personal development. A chance not everyone has.

I am really working harder these few weeks.

I studied my biology syllabus 3 times before I sat for the test and I got only 42/55. I was so disappointed. But there's nothing I can do besides working harder for the upcoming trials. *sigh*

And maths, my current progress is 76/100. A B+ only. Imagine the marks I've lost. My worst subject to date. Please don't let any other subjects be worst than this. 

I've been trying to study consistently for a few weeks already.

I cannot say that it has worked out perfectly but at least I was much more diligent and productive.

I registered for IELTS today.

The test will be on the 2nd and the 3rd of September.

I have 2 weeks to work on my English to prepare myself for the test.

I want a band score of 7.5!!! xD

The highest is 9.0 btw.

The only section that I am not confident in is the Speaking test. My English speaking is definitely not that fluent :( Have not been speaking English at home for years. lol.

I think my maths and physics lecturer find it super obvious because I was almost fast asleep when they're teaching. I'm really sorry! x(

What a bad week to get sick!!

I have a Maths test tomorrow and a biology test on Thursday!

I feel like skipping every class tomorrow and only attend the maths test :(

but, there was great news from my Chemistry teacher that even being sick can't stop me from saying "YESSS!" in a very energetic way xD

She told us that she'll let us resit for our Class Test 1!!!

A whole new paper and whole new marks! AWESOME MAX!

Because that's my pitfall for Chemistry, my CT1. I got a horrible 2.55/6.00.

I cannot be happier to retake the test! Muahahaha!

Now I can save my chemistry! :DDDD

Another thing that I felt great was that..

Ms. Wong from the Pre-U office called me today and told me that my sharing session during the info day got positive feedback from the audience and that the principal was impressed! W.O.W! hahahahahaha!

Now I am invited to represent SAM to give a sharing session with the future Principal Awards' recipients.

It's definitely gonna be a great experience but my english isn't fluent enough and I think I'm gonna "menjatuhkan image" of Principal Awards x(

Should I or should I not? :/

Anyhow, I have until Friday to consider that.

Busy weekend.

I volunteered to work for Taylor's yesterday (SAM Info Day) to earn some extra bucks and..

I never thought being a student helper was that tiring.

Although I'm considered a student ambassador, which means my job for the whole day was to talk about my experience in SAM, it worn me out completely (main point, I talked for less than 3 minutes for each session) xD

But nevermind, I only have 2 short sessions and I'm earning RM 5 per hour by just talking and answering questions from the visitors :DD

And, it was an awesome experience. :D

I just hope Taylor's won't screw me for what I've said xD

Yesterday was also Taylor's Placement Day where most of the universities in Australia came over to talk to students and to waive the application fee for students.

I looked around and picked up prospectus but still, I'm thinking hard. :/

I showed a few universities my results and they said it should be no problem and yet, I'm quite doubtful.

Anyways, next week is exam week + deadline week.

And after that, I'm looking forward to the Raya hols.

But after the hols, I don't want to know. :/

I need a massage.

My shoulders are sore, my neck in vain and my mind is not really functioning anymore.

(I have a sudden urge to go swimming everyday -___- I need to stretch those nerves and muscles)

I'm working on my chemistry tutorial questions now and I got so freaking confused that I need to take a short time-out.

Need to think of happy stuff. Lol. Just to get my mind of the assignments.

hmmm..

1. Keeping my fingers crossed for the visa application. We must get through that interview! I want to go on vacation! :DD

2. might be getting a laptop soon :D

3. Have been driving to and fro Taylor's :DD like finally! Parents still worried but at least I get to drive :D
