February :)

Today is already the last day of February. Time flies, huh? :) March is here in less than 12 hours. ;(


Well, I only have around 11 or 12 posts in February. :X but at least my blog is not dead yet! haha! Will update about yesterday's outing soon :) When Darren Teh Teng Han upload the pics! ish! :P

I am starting to pick up in college. I mean like I am starting to work on my assignments consistently. Not really that last minute anymore because I know last minutes does pay a lot.

Today was a “blast”. Extra classes and also extra homework. 

Chemistry, the teacher taught like she was flying a jet. All of us look at her like she was speaking latin or some alien language. “You better make sure you get the shape of molecules right, or you will be crying during your class test!” Mouths open with fright.

Research Project, print this, print that and do this for your proposal and update your online journal! More and more computer work. At least this was the easiest assignment of the day.

Physics. First sentence in Physics was, “Your class test is next Monday. And to prepare you for your class test, finish all the Chapter 2 questions in the workbook and hand it in on Thursday!” We all looked at our lecturer with our jaws WIDE open. Oh-my-gosh.

Biology. “You’re gonna have your biology practical test on Wednesday and Thursday. Please be prepared”. Mouth agog, conjunctiva turns pale.

Maths. 8 tutorials on Differentiation. 1 tutorial includes 36 questions. Do as much as you can to score well for your class test next Thursday”. I practically should have jump down from the third floor. Btw, I just lost 0.9 marks for the previous quiz. I scored 2.1/3. Sigh :(

Now, I want to say ever so loudly that SPM was nothing! Nothing! Compared to all this. And I seriously thought that SPM was a nightmare. Well, not anymore. The only nightmare of SPM is to take the results :(

Well, no point sulking now. I’m already 1.5 months into this program. I should buck up. Tan Zhi Han! You should really work harder and put a lot more effort in your work! I hope I can get through all this and still get good grades! :) Jia you! xD

P.s. I saw a tweet from a friend which was very interesting. And I agree with the statement :)

People say u don't know what you've got until it's gone...truth is, you knew what you had, you just thought you'd never lose it.

 

Short updates :)

my long tedious post will be about my week :)

first of all, outing with SzeChin last Sunday :)

we talked and talked non-stop and abused one of the fitting rooms.

we watched No Strings Attached.

(we can now go into rated 18 movies without worrying that we might not get to enter the cinema! :P)

the movie was very nice! recommended! but *er-hem!* its rated 18SL (or SG or SX idk la..) so ermm.. Still in high school people don't watch la har.. xD I find this movie quite touching? lol. idk how to describe it besides saying its so good xD

secondly, I started driving already. I mean learn how to drive.

and I don't want to drive anymore! sigh!

my instructor was terrible, horrible, vegetable! I've never been so insulted in my life!!! nobody ever called me a knuckle-head or stubborn or beh-kau-tong (can't communicate) or commented that my reaction was super slow for N times in 1 hour. and hello! I listened to his instructions and he scolded me, he asked me to drive and said that he's not going to spoon feed the instructions, so I drive lor, then suddenly, he started scolding me like mad! like I've killed his whole family. wtf! He told me to step on the oil, and when I stepped, he said "you like speeding is it?! step on the oil for what?! Foot on the break! I've never seen someone so stubborn in my years of teaching driving!!" wtf?! is this my problem? He asked me to step on the oil in the first place!

I was mentally insulted and physically exhausted. If I can I would definitely shout back at him! I am paying a freaking large amount of money for him to teach me how to drive, not to insult me! sigh! :(

I am really scared to go for my driving lesson tomorrow. I don't want to face such an instructor! x(

gotta go through all this. sigh x infinity! P license, hurry up!

College.

A very big word.

I have Physics assignments, Biology Test (6% in my assessments) and Maths Quiz (3% in my assessments).

I rushed through all my assignments like mad every night. I did my homework till the point where I can say I am now officially a national treasure, a panda. And all those zits came running back to greet me :(

I am overwhelmed by the fact that I survived the first Biology Test and Maths Quiz. :D

But of course, I'm gonna fail my maths so badly! heh! die hard!

I opened the question booklet, (3 main topics with a few sub-questions) I looked at Q1, "nevermind la, one question can't answer"

Q2, "another one..?"

Q3, "oh!-my!-God!"

ta-daaa! I am doomed. seriously, in the 20 minutes of the quiz, my brain was literally, theoretically and practically EMPTY. I am so doomed man. I can see 3% of my assessment going down the drain. :( so much for aiming A+. Now I have 97% left. =S 2% more and my A+ is gone!

Biology was better, I studied the syllabus for 3 times. I think I got it? I can't be sure. But I hope it turns out better than Maths. :]

A month in SAM made me realize that I can't cope in science. I cannot cope at all. Especially physics and maths. I dread the feeling of having to study maths, biology and physics. (Chemistry is the only subject which I don't have a problem so far. Research Project is another story)

If I am given a chance to turn back the time, I would like to try Foundation in Business. Idk, I don't think I  like Business, but somehow it might not be as bad as Science? I am really dreading Science here. But I am also aware that I do not have a choice. If I change now, I will have to wait for the next intake and I will waste 10k. Sigh! I really thought that I will do well in college with all the science subjects. I thought I loved science. (I think I just love Chemistry and all the science experiments. lol!)

Laughter, the best medicine :D

I definitely agree with that statement. A friend who makes you laugh until you bang the floor or roll on the floor is so hard to find. The joy of wrapping our arms around our stomach and gasping for breath while laughing like no tomorrow is even harder to get. I got the best of both worlds because I have Tan Huey Khim as one of my besties :D

Who says Valentines Day is only for couples? It can be celebrated with best friends too :P

alright alright, we just don't want to admit the fact that we're single! hah! :P

Since our last outing was ruined, so we planned another one :)

I was afraid we'd run out of topics to talk about after one or two hours, but that never happened. It was like those secondary days where we laughed to the point where our stomachs will cramp and we'll plead for the laughing gas to go away x)

We laughed like maniacs while sitting in Starbucks. heh! I thinking many people were looking at us xD

watched Homecoming :) the show was awesome? xD can I say that? haha! I like the show a lot :)
