Its the holidays :)

Everyone is looking forward to a holiday but not everyone knows what to do during their holiday. For example, I have no idea what am I going to do in this 2-week break. The only thing I can think of is to study everything I've learnt in Semester 1 so I don't fail Semester 2.

I'm just waiting the Setiu photos to load and then I'll upload them here. :)

*

here's some hilarious stuff. PLEASE MASTER your English. Don't use words that you don't really understand or you will end up being commercialized :P

Senario 1: We were studying at the cafeteria. A (boy) went to buy an ice-cream. B (boy) saw and feels like eating too.
A: *licks ice-cream while sitting opposite B*
B: A, can you please don't eat ice-cream in front of me? you are SEDUCING me!
Everyone around the table laughed to the extent that tears came rolling and homework was abandoned for 15 solid minutes. Just so you know, he was trying to say that A is making him want to eat ice-cream too. Despite the English error, the sentence still sounds wrong! xD (You kind of have to know A before you can laugh as hard as we did. He is definitely not in any way seducing! xD)

Senario 2: It was 30 minutes before the Physics paper and we were practically pulling every strand of hair off our heads. We were studying the difference in Electric and Magnetic Field. A (girl) was asking C (girl) why is this, why is that etc. and B (the same boy in Scenario 1) was sitting right beside C.
A: I thought this is the same? Why would it be like that?
C: Nolar! I think you copied wrongly or something. It is definitely not like this. This is because xxxxxxx.....
B: Aiyor! A ah!! Why you MISCARRIAGE your answers?!?!?!
Again, the whole table broke out laughing out loud in the library. Seriously! If you don't understand the word, please check the dictionary before you use it or you will entitle yourself a placing in the World Record of the Most Hilarious English Jokes.

I've been investing a lot of pennies to my thoughts lately. Many questions aroused. Some which I, myself could not answer. Life's tough and never fair. People changes and challenges await. I don't want to be the person who pretends to be someone at sometime and somewhere I do not belong...

Oh well, no more crapping. The photos are ready for uploading :]

End of Sem 1 :D

Again, TIME FLIES!! :D
I still remember how we countdown for SAM's Midyear Assessment and now, *Muahaha! Evil laughs!* Its the past, its over, its gone, good-da-bye! :P
Screw those exam papers. Frankly, I feel that I studied harder for this exam compared to SPM. lol!! Aiya, who cares. Its over, I just don't want to get back the papers :P
As of 1.40.01pm today, I am free for two whole weeks! :D
*pssst! kawan-kawan, let's go out! xD*

went out with the G4s today! 17/24 G4s went to Sunway today :D Celebrating the end of our Sem 1 torture xD
We watched Pirates of the Caribbean together and well, the whole theater was actually filled with SAM students! haha! SAM students were everywhere! I pity those taking accounts. Their paper is tomorrow xp

I ♥ G4 :)

Will be going to Terengganu tomorrow under Taylor's :D
Idk how will it be -- fun/not fun/boring..? -- but I can't wait! XD
After studying for so long, I want to get out of the city.
We'll be going to the rural area near the beach to do environmental stuff.
I heard we'll be cleaning beaches, see turtles/tortoise (sorry, idk how to differentiate between them. I know, me stupid :P), what else ar.. Idk, I know its something to do with the environment :)

I guess I will stop here for now.
Will be back on Sunday :)
Time to pack! :)

Like any other.

"The morning was great! The drizzling rain made the whole atmosphere nice and cooling. It was 7 am at Taylor's... It was a good day like any other... There were people laughing and goofing around..."

Waiiittttt... What am I talking about? This, should be my line :

"The morning was terrible! Of all days to rain, why today? The library is cold, my hands are shivering thanks to the 'anxiety' in me. It was 7 am at Taylor's and its not a good day. Its the first day of our semester exam and we are all flipping the pages of our notes as if today's the external assessment. Also, we're envious of the A-Levels students goofing around disturbing our 'rush hour'.."

Chemistry paper was a mess. I was blank when I saw some of the questions. The biggest problem today was identifying the chemical compounds used. The structural formula was so confusing. I can't differentiate them. And some of the questions, I never even read of them previously. Aduei.

I guess I better stop thinking about Chemistry and move on to Biology. Somehow, I really want to Ace Biology. Finished studying all 10 chapters already. But I don't think I am good enough yet. Gotta work on Past Year Questions later.

3 more days to go! :)

P/s. I don't want tomorrow to come! I don't want to study MATHS! >____<

This is it.

After fighting for almost five months in SAM, the exams will start in three days time.
Four subject, four days.

I am currently working on my final paper for my fifth subject, Research Project.
After this would be the mad rush for time to study everything.

Frankly, I am freaking out. Seriously freaking out. This exam is really important because the results of this exam will be used to apply for universities in Australia. If I am not mistaken, I need a minimum of 85% for every paper. I don't even think 70% is possible especially Maths. I screwed my paper today and that made me hate Maths even more. Guess what? My best subject now is Physics. Hah! Never in my dream would I figure that one day, Physics would be my best sub instead of Chemistry. Chemistry is just a little bit behind Physics. Biology, let's just keep that away for now.

Came here to drop a random update before my blog goes dead in the next 10 days.
I will force myself to stay away from Facebook and Twitter.
I want to go Aussie so badly and to enter the Group of 8 is so so so much harder.
Am trying to focus and not slack at all ._.

Here Goes Nothing

Like what the title says, here goes nothing. The exam fever is here and everyone is getting tensed. The Semester 1 exams are here. Less than a week away and I am still weak in so many things! Although I've been working harder than I've ever been for SPM, but it never seems to be enough :(

What I can do now is to work harder this week to achieve presentable results next week. I'm keeping my fingers  crossed so so super tight! My SAM isn't progressing really well actually. Especially for Maths. I'm not a number person. Numbers, algebra, formulas and me never clicked. If studying science does not need Maths, I would have given up on Maths ages ago. *Deep sigh!* Somehow even Accountings don't bore me that much x(

Maths quiz tomorrow. 3% into my internal. What topic is it about? Its Chapter 6, Integration! Best of luck to me. I never paid any attention to this topic during my SPM year and my latest notes are quite confusing to me as I don't know the basics of integration (besides those simple simple ones! Starting from volume and area, I'm a dead fish)

What I'm gonna do now is to look forward to the 2-week break starting next Friday, 27th May :D But break doesn't mean rest, it means 480 extra hours for us to study and prepare for the exams that are awaiting us after the break. I'll give it my best :]

Time management will really improve if you're taking SAM.
Simply because every minute is precious!
(Let's not say seconds, its too exaggerating xD)

Losing my mind

Look at the time.
It is already 9 pm and in exactly 12 hours, we Research students will have to hand in our Research Project folio.

I've always wondered why people can still work on their homework when they are online in Facebook.
well, now I know why. Because, I am doing the same thing now!
None of us Research students have leave the Taylor's College SAM Research Project January 2011 group for even one minute!
I bet all 124 students are checking the page every minute for the last 3 days.
At least I was doing that XD I was so paranoid I kept the page open 24 hours! -.=

Get what I mean? The notifications keep popping up every minute indicating that another student posted or commented.
We cannot afford to lose any marks as this folio and report that we're gonna hand in tomorrow carries 70% into our internal assessment.
Who ask us to be last minute, right? Haha! Wrong!
I wasn't last minute on the folio. I compiled everything and I have every evidence I need. I printed everything on Friday and I've started sorting them out yesterday.
The worst part about all of this was that I realized I have so so many mistakes on Saturday that I redo everything from head to toe. Its really time and paper consuming. I really feel bad for all the trees being chopped down for my project. Lol! On the other side, I want good results so trees, I am so sorry! XD My marks are kind of a little more important!

Sigh! I am still not done with my refined version of the folio.
Ms. J, are you reading this? lol!
Shien Wee asked you if you read my blog and I THINK I heard a YES?! O.O
Please please please don't deduct my marks! haha!
And if you are reading this now, please please please check your e-mail and correct my report? Heh heh! XD

I guess that's all for today.
I have a biology report to hand in tomorrow and I haven't even started on it yet :(
Btw, I utilized my weekend well this week. So don't say that I was procrastinating XD

Ciao! :)

Kind of stressed?

This month is really the month to "die for".
Let's not say this month, this week itself is a pain in the neck.

Reports, assignments, drafts, tests, investigations, write-ups etc. Everything is due within this week! The only reason why I am here is because I need to take a little time off Microsoft Words. I think even the program can't stand me anymore.

In two weeks time would be my midyear exam. I'll definitely give it my 100%.

will work super duper hard! :]

Signing out.
Time for the reports.

One day Camp :)

details are as per above :)

I entered SAM at Taylor's without a single friend. It was only a week before the orientation that I know that I have a long-time-no-contact friend studying SAM.

I entered SAM under Principal Awards and later, we were told that all recipients of the award are the Pre-U Ambassadors of Taylor's College Subang Jaya. Frankly, besides the other Kwang Hua-rians, I know nobody in the ambassador level.

And hence, I attended this camp, alone.
Knowing no one besides the fact that I can only recognize people from the same department as me from their shirts.

We made a move to Lakeside Campus at 9.30am.
Our day camp is at the Taylor's Lakeside.
We're only using the experimental hall.

We were divided into groups for the activities that they have planned.

I am in Group 2 :)
My first impression of my group was :"wow, they must really be scholarship material because they are so sporting and their can speak out for themselves without a problem and and andd... They have a super high IQ!" (They can figure out things so easily when I can't x( )

Which camp does not have Station Games?
The first game was Treasure Hunt.
We're suppose to find 15 out of 50 things in the campus.
For example, we need to find a Zebra! How is that possible?! lol! And a Yellow Porshe??

The games were somehow really challenging.
It was more IQ and teamwork based than physical.
Amazingly, I enjoyed working with my group so much.
We have no quarrels and we were all willing to give our 100% to every activity conducted :)

The prize giving ceremony.

Third prize is Group 1 :)

2nd Prize, unbelievably, was my group, Group 2 ♥

I am not sure about the spelling, but here it goes :)
From left, Yen Ling, Me, Cally, Shane, Zhi Min and Wang Lin.
An all girls group :)

First Prize goes to Group 5 :)

Group photo :)

Now, photos of all the participants and the coaches :)

why the back?
Because, we have our departments labelled on our backs. Like me, my department is EMBER.
There's Leadership, Events and Speech, Counselling and EMBER :)

I am glad I attended the camp.
(before this I thought it was just a waste of time xp)
I made a lot of new friends and at least now I know all the other EMBER members :)
It was another day well spent :)

Before ending this post, would like to thank Kang Li for the last minute offer to fetch me back to Klang. If not I would be stranded in SS15 for another 1 hour I think. Heh! Andddd... I know this sounds super stupid but I want to drive like Kang Li! lol!

Hoping for more activities like this in the future :)

them :)

This post is a backdated post.
I guess its at least 2 weeks or 3 weeks old.

To Them,
I miss those days we ponteng class and lepak in the school compound XD

Luckily there are still events which we can participate together :)

24th April.
Shao Qian, Eng Seng, Huey Khim and I had our standby duty at HQ.

Shao Qian and Huey Khim kept talking and talking, leaving Eng Seng and I at a corner. Aduh. Kesian.
We were fortunate that the NA have their training on that particular day and we went in to help spot their mistakes. Believe me, it was hard. I can hardly find any mistakes. :)

Btw, the three of you, do you guys still remember our little concert? XD
Our movie trip was cancelled, but we had our short 'movie' at Lotus. It was graded 5 stars in the comedy category :P
We kept laughing and laughing while the 'movie' was playing on the laptop. Seriously, I don't think there would be anyone who would not laugh upon watching it :P

One week later, we had our Home Nursing Course :)
It was conducted by Puan Mag.
I learned more than what I did for competition. lol.
Here are some funny ones from that day.

The most epic one goes to Thuan Song!

hello, its just a head bandage! XD

now this is better XD

don't show your teeth! :P

Doesn't he look like a PIRATE?! xp

even more like a pirate. Heh!

Teng Han's turn.
It was hard to even get him to sit on the chair. lol!

Hair washing :D
Victim, Ong Nyee Huey!

Look how happy she is? heh!

Advantage : Free head massage
Disadvantage : Hell knows how long the shampoo has been in the Home Nursing box *yucks!!!!*

Princess Elizabeth?! XD
He cannot stop talking about the Royal Wedding.
and now, he is on tape XD

Group photo everyone! :) ♥

It was another happy and laughter-filled day  ♥

Freaky Friday.

What would you do if you see two students holding this?

That's what Alex and I did.
We took the board and walked around Taylor's hoping that people would dare us to do something! XD

I can't really remember who was the first to dare us that day.
But here are some photos :)
And the photos here are not according to order. Idk what happened, its all a mess.
Half of the photos are still with Alex in his cam.

btw, here are some other awesome projects presented :)
The girls are from my physics class and I am so sorry to say that I still don't know their names as I have never spoken to them. lol.
They are working on egg-less cookies :)
Think its impossible? No, its not.

Kimberly :)
her project is about Ballet.

Idk who is she, but I know her project is awesome xD

A robot that actually cleans the floor like a vacuum.
and its 'hand-made'

a parachute debut :)

Uzma :D

waiting for people to get us to do something.

we were both dared to take the weights from TeckChoon's project and run one round around Taylor's car park and obviously, I cannot do that because the weights are approx 10kg and hello, that's almost a quarter of my weight already. So Alex did the dare. Give him some credit la! xD
He seems to enjoy it xD

Jou Ann and Madelaine (Idk if I spelled it correctly).
They're asking us to do some eh-heh, impossible stuff.

trying to negotiate.

5 rounds around the carpark. fine, its acceptable. :P

I remember this dare well.
Alex is to put an umbrella on the D Floor (4th) stairs and I have to run up to get the umbrella.
Freaking stairs. lol.

With Vincci.
I kind of make her dare us something. Lol. Sorry!
We need the names, we need the dare x(
btw, that's Rajinesh in red :) He came to help us :)

Then Dhivagar dared me to run up the stairs all the way to D floor, BACKwards.
I almost fell back on my bottom a few times. -.-!

The next dare was worse.
I forgot who was it but see this.

we were running in front of the Taylor's Placement Center's "balcony".
Kind of embarrassing because everyone can see what we're doing, after all, we're so super bright xD
and the placement center staff actually walk out and stared at us. whoops! heh!

other dares:

frog jump

Run like a dog!

It was seriously exhausting.
I can feel the pain on my thighs.

Watermelon eating competition.
Dhivagar in blue.

Gross! :P

The guy in dark blue won the match.

Now for Mok Hong's dare.
Alex gotta piggy back me all the way up to C Floor.

striking neon green wey!

My Biology lecturer, Ms Param dared Alex and me to run to C Floor and back within 3 minutes.
We thought 3 minutes was not enough, we sped up the flight of stairs and run across the hall way and back down again only to realize that we only took 35 seconds! lol!

If they can touch the bulb on top, Olivia's gonna give them 5 bucks! xD

This is not a dare, but more of a favour.
We went out of college and to Take Away to buy bubble tea for Ms. J and Ms. Low.

They even treat us a cup each xD
Thank you Ms J and Ms Low :)

Our last dare by Shannan and Shirley.

our cameraman, ZhiKai (idk how to spell his name. :X)

Research Project Showcase Day ended with Tug-Of-War by the Fitness team and any random student :)

Despite being tired and sweaty, Aaron, Shien Wee and I decided to go Sunway for a snack before going home.
We dropped by My Honeymoon.
It was not bad but a lil pricey.

okay, finished with the photos.
Now I am hungry :P Ciao people! :)
